The tamarisk shrubs lining the shore line caught my eye one year when I saw these gorgeous sprays of tiny pink flowers blooming. I knew I wanted to reference the intricate details in bud stage and from there this sculptural earring materialized. The Blue Topaz tipped ends are a reference to the ocean as these trees were planted along the water side as protection from the harsh winter winds.
